My Why

Women of a certain age were taught in their childhood to be seen and not heard. As they grew older, they were no longer seen.

 

My Calling

I have been called to write and build this website platform because I have something to say. My goal is to…

  • Unite women with the links of our shared stories and experiences.

  • Be a bridge to elder women.

  • Be a mentor to younger women.

  • Be seen. It has been too long that women over 55 become invisible.

  • Remind everyone that the art we create and make is more important than the term “craft” that it is given.

My Approach

I approach this platform hoping to share my voice. I hope that this one voice may be an inspiration to other women of a certain age. I acknowledge that it is only one voice, but hope it may inspire discussion.

My mission is to help women age with grace and gain more respect for themselves. To help them become visible to themselves and others.
